August-cards.gifAugust Fun Card ChallengeHere are the cards I have done for Julie's JFF Card Challenge. I really like the colour combo - at first I thought they would be male cards, but I really wanted to use the little flowers I had, but I am not sure they are quite right for a female birthday card either. Perhaps I will change the sentiment and make them into something else. 2 commentsAug 25, 2012
IMG_4366.JPGBe AmazingJulia said something funny to me yesterday. She says "I think I'm getting my confidence back mum, I lost it in year 3 but it's coming back now"

So once I printed this picture out I wanted to do a page for her to tell her to ALWAYS be confident, be fearless, be brave, be honest and just be you. All of these things I told her while we were chatting but making the page for her seemed to make it sink in for her. She helped me pick the papers and embellies and says it's her favourite page I've ever made her :)

Thanks for looking!!

Fun-at-the-Show-half.gifFun at the ShowHere is my interpretation of Julie's Just For Fun Sketch Challenge. I have used MME Kraft Funday (scraps left over from another LO). My background was made by wrapping rubber bands around a cardboard cylinder, then inking it and then rolling it over the cardstock.3 commentsAug 12, 2012

P1050563.JPGDream DayI actually did this LO for the CC Sketch challenge but didn't get around to putting it in the gallery. I like the finished product. I am embarressed to say I don't remember what brand the pp are! The cut off strips are long discarded. Chipboard scroll courtesy Mandy - thanks Mandy. The alpha is chipboard thickers which I have painted. Flowers cut from the pp, with KC rhinestones, plus one paper flower and the heart is something I have had in my stash forever. TFL7 comments
